Julie has finished over 50 ultramarathons, including five 200 milers and several 100 milers. She regularly writes for Ultrarunning magazine, volunteers at races, and hosts running events in Albuquerque.

She has three 1st place overall female finishes, three course records, and is one of eight women who completed the Ouray 100.
